Entering “Check out”, an entry can be assigned to a panel (if it has already been sorted) in order for it to be judged. It should be noted that said panel must have an assigned award category. This is the path:
You then access this screen:
A judging session is first chosen before Check-out can be done. Then the next step depends on if the tasting modality is Queued or by Flights. In case Queued has been selected:
A Panel is then selected. In this example, we selected Panel 2.
If the Panel (or Table) does not yet have an award category assigned to judge, one should be assigned. In the example, American Ales.
The entry that you want to send to the table is then selected, either by typing the judging code, clicking on it or scanning the QR code. You should then click on “Add to panel”, making that entry available to be judged by judges on Panel 2.
If you want to remove an entry you assigned to a Panel, you enter the Panel, select the entry and click on the cross on the upper right. Its removal should then be confirmed via the pop up box.
If you have chosen the Flights judging modality, after selecting the award category assigned to judge (in the example, American Ales), this screen appears:
In this example, the maximum number of entries per flight that can be assigned to a table is 8 (remember that this setting was made in Settings => Judging Options). The entries that will make up that flight are then selected, and it should look as follows:
The samples that appear gray at the bottom are the ones that have already been selected. Then click on the Add to panel option to assign to Panel 2. The flight is thus assigned to that Panel:
If you go back to Panel 2 and click on the Print entries list option, the system creates a list of the entries assigned to the table on that flight. You can decide on the level what detail you want on the list:
It will look like this:
In the same way as in the Queued option, if you want to undo that flight assignment for that Panel, enter it, select the flight and click on the cross. You will need to confirm its removal.
If you have previously created the flights in the Administration => Flights menu, the screen changes slightly when entering the Panel:
In this case, the flights already appear with entries grouped, so what is assigned to the table is directly the flight when clicking on it and then on Add to panel (rather than the individual entry):
