Registration of a Competition

Access https://beerawardsplatform.com/home and click on "Start for Free".

You can sign in with an email address and password, or using a Google account.

After logging in, select "Host your Competition".

You will be directed to this screen:

You will find the following fields:

  • Competition name: Name of the competition to be registered.
  • Competition URL Path: The URL access for the competition. By default, this field will be automatically filled based on the competition name entered in the previous field. However, it can be customized according to the organization's preferences. This will be the public URL that participants will use to register their beer.
  • Competition Type: Select whether it is a Homebrew or Professional competition. Note that this cannot be changed later.
  • Logo: Competition's logo.
  • Options: Choose between creating a brand new competition or copying settings and data from a previous competition (this second option is not available for first-time users of BAP). If you select the second option, additional choices will appear. Choose a base competition from which to copy settings and data, then select the items you wish to copy.


After completing the form, click on "Start for free":

Afterward, you will be directed to the competition's Dashboard.

The free mode allows for a maximum of 15 entries by default. If you exceed this limit, you can upgrade your plan by clicking on the "Free mode" button and paying the corresponding fees using a credit card. We utilize Stripe to handle these payments, ensuring data security. Non-profit organizations are eligible for a 50% discount on the registration fee. Please ensure that you fill out your information before proceeding with the payment.

After entering the credit card information and completing the transaction, you will be redirected back to the Dashboard, now with the Full Plan activated. This allows your competition to receive an unlimited number of entries (you can still choose to set a limit if desired).

You can also customize the type of email notifications you receive as an administrator. Simply click on the icon in the upper right corner of your screen, select "My Profile", scroll down to choose the email notifications you prefer, and remember to click "Save Profile".
